兒科風濕病專家是照顧患有自體免疫疾病或免疫系統攻擊身體疾病的兒童的兒科醫生。
一群對患有風濕病的兒童感興趣的香港兒科醫生於 2010 年首次聚會，討論並分享對治療這些兒童的看法。最終，香港小兒風濕病學會於2012年成立。
該協會積極促進兒童健康，特別是該群體患者的健康，維護護理標準，並積極推動該領域的知識發展。
